Our boat
Our boat, the Nostromo, is a monohull Bertram that provides all the necessary amenities for the activity, as well as a cabin where you can store gear you don’t want to get wet, a restroom, and a refrigerator.
If you need to rent equipment, we have fully-equipped recreational gear that we regularly update, including complete sets with tanks, scooters, closed-circuit rebreathers (CCR), or sidemount rigs.
Dive sites
The island of Tarifa is located in the Natural Park of the Strait. Part of its coast is classified as a reserve area. It is home to a multitude of species such as groupers, moonfish, or eagle rays.
You may also encounter the sea turtle, gliding effortlessly through the currents. Schools of fish create a dazzling display around the multiple corals and walls colored orange by our emblematic Astroides. The landscape becomes a rainbow of colors when the light reflects on it.
You will never forget the beauty of the Natural Park of the Strait beneath its waters.
La Garita
It’s a place with great biodiversity located in the Mediterranean Sea area. It’s easy to see a multitude of species displaying reproductive or mating behaviors. Many species live here year-round.
We can see schools of damselfish, spiderfish, or the mythical lobster that gives its name to one of the rocks.

La Pared
This area of the island of Tarifa, located in the Atlantic Ocean area, features landscapes composed of large walls covered in corals. It’s common to see lobsters, morays, snappers, and other animals there.

- Temperature: From 19º to 17º Celsius.
- Current: Mild or none.
- Difficulty: Easy
La Piscina
An area rich in benthic life located in the Mediterranean Sea area. Like the rest of the island of Tarifa, here we can see abundant corals, nudibranchs, and medium to small-sized fish. It is worth noting that this is the area where we have sighted the most turtles. It is also common to see large shoals of bogue fish and other species.

Los pasillos
Dive in the Atlantic Ocean area known for its large rocks that form corridors with walls covered in orange coral, numerous nudibranchs, fireworms, or flatworms. During this dive, it’s common to see eagles and large schools of fish.

- Temperature: From 19º to 17º Celsius.
- Current: None to moderate.
- Difficulty: Easy
El placer del macro
Dive in the Atlantic Ocean area. Rocky area with walls and overhangs teeming with benthic life, usually characterized by very good visibility. This environment is abundant in nudibranchs and various corals, ideal for any underwater photographer. It is also common to see manta rays and schools of salema fish.
- Depth: 5 meters to 15 meters.
- Temperature: From 19º to 17º Celsius.
- Current: Weak or none.
- Difficulty: Easy
Marroquí de levante
This is the southernmost tip of the continent in the Mediterranean Sea area. Here we can find abundant life of all sizes and a great variety of species. Additionally, if we are lucky, we may see migratory species passing through the strait.
- Depth: 14 meters to 35 meters.
- Temperature: From 19º to 17º Celsius.
- Current: Usual and sometimes very intense.
- Difficulty: Moderate.
Marroquí de poniente
This is the southernmost tip of the continent in the Atlantic Ocean area. Here we can find abundant life of all sizes and a great variety of species. Additionally, if we are lucky, we may see migratory species passing through the strait.
- Depth: 14 meters to 35 meters.
- Temperature: From 19º to 17º Celsius.
- Current: Usual and sometimes very intense.
- Difficulty: Moderate.
Las Calderas wreck
This dive is located in the Atlantic Ocean area. Here we find the steamship “Frieda,” which sank in 1905 after colliding with the island of Tarifa due to intense fog and was subsequently scrapped. It’s a dive suitable for all levels where we can enjoy abundant marine life, and experienced divers can explore various caves.

Las Gorgonias wreck
This dive is located in the Atlantic Ocean area. The steamship “Citus” collided with the Cabezos shoal in 1928, sinking just 300 meters from the Los Lances beach in Tarifa. It was traveling at full load with a cargo of wood marked by the USSR. Here we can see large marine life and numerous gorgonians.

- Current: Common, sometimes intense.

San Andrés wreck
This dive is located in the Mediterranean Sea area. Here we find a mixed steamship called RMS Don Juan. It carried beverages and British mail. It sank in 1837 after running aground in Punta Marroquí due to a storm. Now transformed into a reef, its remains teem with life, and it’s not uncommon to see moonfish in its surroundings.
